It’s been an exciting year at The Video News Factory! From taking on larger, high-profile projects to expanding our creative toolkit, we’ve seen incredible momentum across all areas of our work.

We’re thrilled to have launched our new AI Avatar creation service, MirrorMe AI, empowering clients to create lifelike digital twins for marketing, training, and virtual experiences. Not only this, but we also have our features on major online news channels like the BBC, Daily Star and Daily Mail. Alongside this, our AI Leadership Journal newsletter has taken off, connecting hundreds of industry leaders with insights, trends, and thought leadership in AI and creative media.

And here is something special. A Video for Christmas created with a little use of AI to bring to life a real Christmas story by Rev. Bill McDonald.

TVNF Brings OUAI to Life

At TVNF, we love pushing creative boundaries. Recently, we partnered with Austella and the OUAI Project to deliver a commercial series inspired by the playful, whimsical style of Fooh ads. The campaign centered around OUAI’s Super Dry Shampoo, reimagined as a quirky “bottle car” rolling through iconic UK landmarks, from the London Eye to the Liver Building in Liverpool and the Angel of the North in Durham. Using a mix of live-action footage and 3D/VFX integration, we built photorealistic OUAI bottles in pastel pink and blue, complete with satin matte textures, and brought them to life with animations that sprayed mist into real-world scenes. The result: a fun, premium, and eye-catching product showcase designed to surprise and delight audiences.

Miss England Update: AI Avatar Competition

MirrorMe AI’s groundbreaking partnership with Miss England has introduced the first AI-powered round in the history of UK beauty pageants. Contestants now create their own digital twins, hyper-realistic avatars designed with MirrorMe technology, and compete by pitching their services and recruiting business clients virtually, emulating a format similar to BBC’s “The Apprentice.”  The AI avatars represent the contestants in branded adverts and earn commissions, blending confidence, digital presence, and entrepreneurship. This innovative approach, backed by dedicated coaching in AI media, pushes contestants to master modern tech, positioning Miss England as a leader in integrating AI with talent development and ethical business practice.

Education & Impact: Milton Keynes College Collaboration

Our partnership with Milton Keynes College goes back over 10 years, starting in their business hub, where we shaped The Video News Factory brand. Since then, we’ve welcomed students for placements, collaborated on campaigns, and most recently, delivered a powerful project with Austella and First Step Trust.
We produced 20 training videos, combined with VR, to help young offenders learn the building trade and earn their ‘green card’ while in detention. College students even joined us on-site to film key scenes, a brilliant example of students helping students to make a real-world impact.
