MK Channel 40 Charity Fundraiser!
The Video News Factory (TVNF) is proud to announce its first-ever Charity Fundraiser, held in partnership with MK Channel 40 on Sunday, 17 September 2023. Hosted at The Shoulder of Mutton, Little Horwood, the event brought together local businesses, community leaders, musicians, and families for a day of fun, music, and fundraising — all in support of an incredible cause.
The fundraiser aimed to raise vital funds and awareness for The Henry Allen Trust, a Milton Keynes-based charity dedicated to supporting children, teens, and families battling childhood cancers. The day was filled with heartfelt stories, laughter, and community connection, reminding everyone of the power of coming together for good.
Guests enjoyed a lively programme of live bands, local performers, and exclusive interviews filmed by the TVNF media team and streamed through MK Channel 40. Local businesses generously donated raffle prizes and auction items, adding to the excitement and helping raise additional contributions for charity.
For TVNF, this event marked more than just a fundraiser — it was a celebration of community media in action. By combining creativity, storytelling, and technology, TVNF showcased how digital media can amplify local voices and make a tangible impact.
Following the success of this event, TVNF and MK Channel 40 plan to make the Charity Fundraiser an annual tradition, supporting different charities each year while highlighting the people and stories that make Milton Keynes a thriving, compassionate community.
Stay tuned for next year’s event, and if your business or group would like to participate, sponsor, or perform, we’d love to hear from you
